One extension for Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox
AI citation checks belong in the browser people already use. Cite runs in Chrome. Safari, Edge, and Firefox are the same extension.
The question happens in a browser. The useful place to see the answer is the same place — a side panel, not another dashboard you forget to open.
Why an extension
You already have the prompts in your head: the questions a buyer would type. An extension lets you store those brands and questions, run a check, and keep the result on the machine. It does not read the other tabs you have open.
One product, four browsers
Cite runs in Chrome.
Safari, Edge, and Firefox are the same extension, shipped for a company. They are not four different products and not four different citation stories. Edge is close to Chrome. Firefox needs its own listing. Safari is a separate store wrap. The measurement — did the answer cite you — stays the same.
What you should not expect
Installing the extension does not make an AI name you. Public pages, clear category language, and proof are what an answer can cite. The extension tells you whether that happened, who was named instead, and what to write when you were missing.
